  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 oz pasta (fusilli, rotini, or egg noodles)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg. Mix well and shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the meatballs in batches until cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add beef broth and cream; season with Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Return meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  5. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and combine with meatballs and sauce.
  6. Serve hot with chopped parsley on top.
