  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 45 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (for filling), softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt; gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Punch down risen dough; roll into a rectangle and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over it.
  6. Roll tightly from the long edge and slice into 12 pieces.
  7. Place rolls cut-side up in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise for another 30-45 minutes until puffy.
