  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Steam the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Transfer to an ice water bath to stop cooking, then drain.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and season chicken cubes with salt and pepper. Sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (1 minute). Gradually pour in heavy cream while whisking.
  5. Remove from heat and whisk in parmesan cheese until smooth. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
