  • 56 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup half and half (or whole milk)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 12 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika; cook for another minute.
  4. Melt butter in the skillet; add beef broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced.
  5. Cook bowtie pasta in a separate pot according to package instructions; drain.
  6. Stir in half and half (or milk) and Parmesan cheese into the skillet until creamy.
  7. Season the sauce with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes before adding the cooked pasta.
