  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess grease if necessary, then stir in the cooked turkey bacon. Add beef broth, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if desired.
  4. Simmer on low for 20 minutes while stirring occasionally until thickened.
  5. Stir in butter until melted and well combined.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
